The Club has a long experience of going international. It started nearly 50 years ago with the Rotary Club of Jonzac in France, with whom regular exchange visits are made. At the USA the Club is twinned with the Rotary Club of Lansdale and North Penn. At Brazil our twin Rotarian Fellows are at Rotary Club of Londrina. In Italy the Rotary Club of Viterbo is our twin Club.

Finally, in the 21th century the Rotary Club de Guimaraes and the Rotary Club of Leicester, at the United Kingdom, decided to make full justice to the longest friendship treaty in History, between England and Portugal. The twinning was signed by the Presidents 2006-2007, João Monteiro and Michael Arc
